BiP Solutions hosts British Ambassador to Croatia visit

BiP Solutions (BiP) – the leading provider of cutting-edge solutions and services that help optimise supply chain value – recently hosted an important visit from the UK Ambassador to Croatia, David Blunt. The visit took place at the BiP headquarters, Medius, in Glasgow’s Digital Media Quarter.
The visit was organised by Scottish Development International (SDI) – a joint venture between the Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise. SDI offers help and advice to companies looking for the right investment location for their business and provides a range of services for businesses thinking about entering the overseas market.
BiP Solutions is such a business, having been heavily involved in development work in the Balkans region over the past few years. The company has worked with the Governments of Kosovo, Montenegro and FYR Macedonia on various development programmes funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and EuropeAid. Following on from the success of these projects, BiP has enhanced its reputation in the region, especially within the area of Government procurement system development.
As a result of BiP’s work in the Balkans, Mr Blunt was keen to discuss BiP’s success and look at how the company could develop further business opportunities within Croatia.
During his visit Mr Blunt met with BiP Solutions Commercial Director Scott Smith and Commercial Executive Stephen Dunn, along with Scottish Enterprise Business Executive John Kane. The BiP team gave the Ambassador an overview of BiP and the company’s main areas of expertise: Business Intelligence; eSourcing; Consultancy Services; Buyer & Supplier Engagement; Stakeholder Consultation; Training & Development; Conferences & Events; IT Services & Solutions; and Marketing Services.
Mr Blunt said: “During my visit to Scotland I felt it was important to visit BiP Solutions who have carried out such important development work in the Balkans region over recent years. I believe that the company possess the ideal expertise and capacity to contribute to similar development in Croatia.
