BiP Solutions expands customer base with acquisition of OJwatch.com

BiP Solutions – the leading provider of cutting-edge solutions and services that help optimise supply chain value – has acquired tender notification service provider OJWatch.com.
OJWatch.com, based in Wokingham, UK, has been providing a tender notification service to companies in the UK and Europe since 1993.
The acquisition of OJWatch.com will see BiP welcome several hundred subscribing users from almost 100 companies to its Tracker business intelligence service.
BiP Solutions has 26 years’ experience in the provision of business intelligence, eSourcing and capacity building services, making OJWatch.com a fitting addition to its portfolio of products and services for the public and private sectors. BiP’s portfolio includes the Tracker, Defence Contracts International and Contrax business intelligence services, the Delta Electronic Tendering Service, a comprehensive Events Management service and the Procurement Advice and Support Service (PASS), which provides procurement consultancy and training to buyers and suppliers.
The purchase of OJWatch.com is evidence of BiP’s strategy of pursuing growth through both the development of its own customer base and the acquisition of other businesses or services which complement its portfolio. Previous acquisitions include Tenders Ireland – a provider of government procurement contracts in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland – and Tendering Services Ireland. BiP expects to announce details of further acquisition activity in the 2010-11 financial year.
