As part of its continued growth, BiP Solutions has a requirement for a Senior Business Analyst to join its team based in its prestigious office in Glasgow’s Digital Media Quarter.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will work closely with a team of Project Managers and the business in delivering organisation-wide change and process improvement within our business, products and services.

Fulfilling a primary role in a team implementing scalable, automated workflow, you will be involved in business process re-engineering.  This will involve the automation of manual processes and the critical appraisal, augmentation and enhancement of processes. You will also play a key role in helping drive the ongoing development and innovation in BiP’s product and service landscape.

To fulfil these roles effectively, you will need to be capable of proactively scheduling, running and facilitating scoping, requirement gathering and gap analysis workshops with key internal stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers. Formal documentation of the outcomes and managing the sign-off process will also be key. Depending on the project, you may also be required to support testing activities such as creation of test plans and test conditions.

Besides demonstrable experience in business process re-engineering, process optimisation and requirements gathering, other essential skills include:

  • In-depth knowledge of industry strength process modelling / analysis techniques and methodologies (e.g. UML, or alternatives)
  • Demonstrable and recent experience in the design of business processes and software solutions
  • Demonstrable experience of the full project lifecycle
  • Multi-tasking effectively when working on multiple projects at the same time
  • Seeing, communicating and adhering to “the big picture” while paying attention to detail
  • Proactive management of expectations in others
  • Ability to negotiate with and influence all levels up to and including directors

Highly desirable, but not essential, skills include:

  • Awareness and understanding of data analysis and data integrity
  • Workflow and electronic records / document management process knowledge and experience
  • Contact centre and management information knowledge and experience
  • Experience of working within a Prince 2 environment
  • Familiarity with wireframing tools and web-based user interface design
  • Experience with CRM solutions
