Commercial Executive
BiP Solutions is currently looking for a Commercial Executive to join its Commercial team. Reporting directly to the Commercial Team Leader, the primary purpose of this role is to develop and grow business in the UK and abroad through existing products and services or through the creation and provision of new business streams. This will be achieved through taking a lead role in the management of projects undertaken to accomplish this goal.
The main responsibilities of the role will include:
- business development – developing new products and services
- project management – leading on internal and externally based projects
- development and maintenance of effective client relationships
- development of partnerships with a view to successful business collaboration
- tender management – including collation of relevant materials and quality control
To be successful within this role, you must have:
- excellent written and oral communication skills
- a good understanding of business processes
- the ability to manage a programme of work
- excellent client-facing and presentation skills
- first-rate problem solving and analytical skills
- the ability to prioritise and manage your workload to meet deadlines
- self-motivation and the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative
Ideally, we will look for the successful candidate to have:
- knowledge of the public sector market, with experience of preparing and managing tender responses a distinct advantage
- business knowledge of the IT sector and, in particular, web-based solutions
- project management experience, ideally with a knowledge and understanding of PRINCE2 methodologies
Due to the nature of the role there will also be the need to attend and present at external client meetings and also provide a support function at internal meetings relating to business development projects.
