Events Marketing Brand Manager
£22k-£25k + Bonus

As one of Europe's leading providers of public sector procurement solutions we are looking to recruit an Events Brand Manager to join our established Marketing Department.
With plans to move to the new state-of-the art Medius building located at the heart of Glasgow's Media Centre at Pacific Quay, Glasgow, this is a genuine opportunity to really make a mark for yourself by joining an organisation which has grown to employ 190 people.
T his is a highly responsible and creative role which will see you operating with key figures across the business. BiP supports its customers through a rapidly growing programme of events and seminars. Our Events team coordinates over 150 events across the UK annually including large-scale conferences held on behalf of a number of clients and bespoke training seminars with the responsibility for the effective marketing of these events sitting with the Events Brand Manager.
Event clients include The Scottish Government and the Ministry of Defence. The role will offer you the opportunity to become involved in all aspects of the marketing and communications mix whilst also being responsible for executing a variety of campaigns throughout the year.
This is a comprehensive role which will see the successful candidate assume responsibility for the effective marketing of BiP’s annual events calendar. This will include:
- the delivery of the annual events marketing plan
- co-ordination of all campaign management including development of all on and offline event collateral and preparing specific design briefs for promotional items
- Setting of ROI targets per event and providing relevant management information
- development, execution and analysis of event customer feedback
- regular monitoring of competitor activit ies
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure maximum exposure of BiP brands across the events calendar
- Exploring and evaluating new methods of marketing BiP events
As the successful candidate you will have demonstrable experience in all elements of events marketing - an effective problem solver, verbally articulate, enthusiastic, be able to think creatively, motivated and by effective brand planning be able to transform your marketing ideas into reality.
You will hold an appropriate marketing qualification with experience of working within an events and exhibitions background.
