Systems Administrator

We are looking to recruit a Systems Administrator with responsibility for the operation and administration of the company’s internal networks, servers and network security systems.   

Reporting directly into the IT Operations Manager, the role will involve maintaining and overseeing the operation of UNIX and Windows servers.  You will also provide connection for LAN and WAN and related applications plus maintaining operating systems, client –server software and utilities.

The role will also include the provision of technical assistance in the planning and development of new projects and systems through researching new technologies and implementing strategies.  There will also be the requirement to provide technical support to computer operations and programming staff.

As the successful applicant will have gained solid experience within a similar environment and be educated to degree level (or equivalent) within the IT industry.  You will also display excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and contribute to the overall success of the team.
