Sales Ledger Clerk

BiP Solutions are currently looking to recruit an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to become part of Scotland’s SME Business of the Year.  This represents a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that has grown to employ in advance of 170 people with an annual turnover in excess of £11.5m.

Reporting directly into our Accounts Team Leader, the main purpose of the role is to maintain the Sales Ledger.   The principle responsibilities of the role will be to raise invoices; conduct cash book reconciliation and maintain customer financial records.

The secondary function of the role will involve working on a telephone collections basis with the responsibility for maximising cash collections in line with the company’s Term and Conditions and ensuring the credit policy of the company is maintained at all times and all details are updated in the in-house CRM system. 

The successful candidate will have gained experience within an accounts environment and have a background in sales ledger capacity.  Ideally we will also look for candidates to have had exposure within a credit control function.  They will also be proficient in Sage (ideally MMS) and Excel and display first class administrative and organisational skills.
