Features Editor

The successful candidate will be responsible for the editorial production of the Defence Contracts Bulletin (MoD DCB) publication and online service, along with other defence-related media. MoD DCB is an official journal of the UK MoD and commands an authoritative position as the definitive guide to the UK defence sector. The Features Editor will be primarily responsible for the collation of news analysis, in-depth feature reports and commentary on this evolving market in conjunction with product and service reports.

The successful candidate for this high profile position will have print and online media experience, a keen news sense and understanding of what makes for a good business publication. They will need excellent editorial judgement, enthusiasm and stamina, plus the ability to think on their feet. They should also be able to forge good working relationships and build up trust with others, within and outside the organisation.

The Features Editor will also be responsible for overseeing the creation, management and monitoring of press releases and other PR activity on behalf of BiP and its clients.
