BiP Solutions supports its customers through a rapidly growing programme of seminars and events.
With its in-depth understanding of public procurement, BiP is ideally placed to deliver expert training and advice for buyers on how to comply with, and benefit from, new procurement legislation.
BiP manages more than 200 events across the UK during each year, including bespoke training seminars and large-scale conferences held on behalf of a number of clients. BiP provides a total events solution, including marketing, event design, exhibition sales, on-the-day management and post-event evaluation and accounting. During 2010, more than 20,000 public and private sector delegates attended events organised by BiP Solutions – an increase of more than 18% on the previous year.
Previous events clients include the Scottish Government, the Ministry of Defence, Scottish Enterprise, the Society of Procurement Officers in Local Government (SOPO) and the Health Care Supplies Association. In addition, BiP created Scotland’s first annual national procurement conference and exhibition, Procurex Scotland, in 2008. In March 2010, BiP launched the annual Procurex National event, which is held at the NEC in Birmingham.
BiP also organises the GovernmentOpportunities (GO) National Excellence in Public Procurement Awards, which since 2008 have been supplemented by the GO Awards Scotland. The GO Awards are widely recognised as the foremost recognition of achievement and innovation within the public procurement sector.
In 2009, BiP launched the Supply National SME Engagement Programme – a series of procurement workshops designed to give SMEs in-depth training to help improve their knowledge and understanding of important areas within procurement. The GO brand also hosts a number of conferences aimed at the public and private sectors throughout the year.
